House Rules

Steps to entering our facilities:

1)    Complete and return application via email or fax.
2)    Speak with intake coordinator to confirm application and availability.
3)    Pass mandatory drug screening.
4)    Submit move in fee.





Unity Home Partner’s Recovery House is based on the principals
of the 12-Step Programs. It is recommended that members obtain a
sponsor/ home group and build recovery supports within the first
30 days of membership. If the member is not involved in a
12-step recovery program, they must be active in their recovery
through family supports, faith based-groups, self-help groups, or
some form of structured recovery support.
Anyone on Parole/Probation must follow all of the terms of their
Parole/Probation officer. Anyone who breaks the law while being a
resident at Unity Home Partners’ will be immediately asked to
​leave the facility.
Unity Home Partner’s Recovery House is based on the principals

Gambling by members is strictly prohibited, that means any form of
GAMBLING!
Stealing, destruction of property and violent behavior is cause for
immediate expulsion. If it does not belong to you, do not use it or
take it. If you damage the house, contents of the house, or another
house member's property you will be required to pay for it.
No pets are allowed inside or outside of the property at any time.
No one is allowed in another member's room unless invited, with the
exception of Unity Home Partner’s Staff. Approved guests of a member
are confined to the common areas and are NOT allowed in any of the
bedrooms. No overnight guests are allowed. All guests must leave the
premises by 10:00 p.m.
No medications shall be permitted in the House that would not be
permitted in a treatment facility, unless special circumstances exist
and are approved by the House. All medications must be approved
by the staff before the prescription is filled. Any member who is on
medication is subject to a pill count at any time. Any questionable
medication must be stored in a secure area and taken as prescribed
by physician. Compliance with Mental Health medications is expected.
Prescription narcotic medications are not permitted. All other
medications are allowed only if they are prescribed to you by a
doctor and are taken as prescribed. Medications are not to be shared
with any other member of the house.
Do not disturb others!Members are responsible for taking their own medications.
Clozapine and Xanax are not permitted. Members on medically
assisted treatment must keep their medicine in a lock box 
provided by Unity Home Partners. Upon entering the house, you
must show proof of the prescription to management. Management
has the right to count medication at any time.
Curfew is 10:00 pm Sunday- Thursday, 12:00 am Friday and Saturday.
Overnight passes must be approved in advance by the UHP. No overnight
pass will be authorized within the first 30 days of residency. OVERNIGHT
PASSES are earned. They will be approved only by your UHP, and/or the
Unity Home Partner’s Staff.
Members who are unemployed when they come to Unity Home Partner’s
Recovery House must be on a verifiable job search each day Monday -
Friday.
Members are responsible for the actions of their guests. It is your
responsibility to make sure your guests follow the rules of the house.
Remember, this is a group living home. If your guests are visiting
frequently and/or for extended periods of times so as to become intrusive,
your guest privileges may be suspended.
Chores are to be done on a weekly basis, if this is not followed, your UHP
will hand out a warning, or a consequence to the member. If a pattern
develops with a member not doing chores, they will be asked to leave.
Absolutely no sexual activity is permitted between members and/or guests.
If you use the kitchen you must immediately clean after you're done.
Everyone is expected to sleep in their room. Sleeping or napping in the
common areas is not permitted.
You must keep a clean bathroom and clean up after yourself after you are finished.
Within 30 days, all members are required to be working, attending school,
or otherwise engaged in a wholesome activity. Residents with unusual job
requirements and/or schedules will be considered on a case by case basis
and must have prior approval of UHP staff.
All rooms and the occupants of these rooms must be maintained in a neat
orderly fashion.
A television is available for use by all house members. Each member is
responsible for their own cell phones.
Profanity is frowned upon, so please try to curb your language.
Smoking or use of any tobacco product is NOT allowed in the house.
Smoking and dipping are permitted in the designated areas ONLY. (rear
of building).

Monthly house meetings are mandatory unless previously approved by
your UHP staff.
If you are caught smoking in the house it will be a $50.00 fine for first
offense. Second offense you will lose your privileges and face immediate
expulsion.
It is suggested that members go to 90 meetings in 90 days.
All members are required to complete daily and weekly chores as
assigned. All residents are required to clean up after themselves, keep
their personal space neat and orderly, and maintain good personal
hygiene.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE HOUSE RULES will result in the loss of privileges, and,
or immediate membership termination.
No visitors that are actively using and no street prostitutes!Don't lend or borrow money.
Absolutely no knives, weapons, or firearms of any kind are allowed on the
property.
We do drug and alcohol testing if we feel it is necessary, refusal is
considered a positive test. You will be automatically and immediately
dismissed from the program.
Membership fees must be paid on time. Late payments are subject to late fees.
Owners of Unity Home Partner’s Recovery House will not be liable for any
personal injury on the property this includes current residents and their
guests.
