The program is based on the recovery principles of active involvement, the right to self-determination, and the right to your choice of services. The program is guided by the belief that people with substance abuse disorders need opportunities to identify and choose a role for themselves. These roles include healthy living choices, working in the community, and helping others. For this reason, it is essential that the client not only agree to and participate in the program, but they must take an active lead in the process. The program will empower participants with substance use disorders to achieve goals and cope with the stressors and barriers encountered during the recovery process and reintegration.
